My COVID-19 Diary – Week 10

May 17 to 23, 2020

Just over a week ago, there was a good editorial in The Globe and Mail newspaper regarding future economic growth as we emerge from under the shadow of the novel coronavirus. Various economical forecasts have used a letter from the alphabet to depict how the economy may respond – including the letters W, V and L.

The editorial turned around a phrase which I thought was worth interpreting as a watercolour painting, which is the subject of this week’s diary. The economy is not expected to recover quickly (i.e. in the shape of a ‘V’) until there is an effective vaccine for COVID-19.
